Marietta Colston Davis has been described as a visionary. A technologist and a philanthropist. And… a leader. She credits a thirst for knowledge and love of helping people unlock their full potential as the cornerstone of her success in and outside the boardroom. As Vice President of Microsoft Dynamics in the United States, she feels a lot of pride in the work she does for Microsoft and as a nonprofit volunteer, helping women and girls see that it's possible to get to the other side, regardless of what's happened in life.

In October, Davis will return to her native Iowa to deliver a keynote address during the Iowa Women Lead Change Conference (IWLC) in Des Moines. With more than 30 years of business and community leadership experience, she will share her story…the transformative journey that has contributed to her success.

Her dynamic personality and determination to close deals quickly are just a couple characteristics attributed to her ability to excel. A graduate of Bradley University with an MBA from Loyola University, Davis has a passion for education.

Davis is actively involved in education, mentoring and professional development. She is a proud supporter of Youth Villages, TechBridge and the Autism Society of America. She is a champion of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), and encourages young women to enter technology fields. She is frequently recognized for her work to help elevate young professionals including being named as one of Atlanta’s “Superwomen” by the Atlanta Tribune. Davis has often been heard encouraging women, in particular, to:

  • Know your worth
  • Prioritize and know what’s important
  • Support other women

We look forward to hearing from Marietta Colston Davis during the Iowa Women Lead Change Conference on October 28 at the Community Choice Credit Union Convention Center.
