The Dubuque Women’s Leadership Conference boasts a line up of four nationally recognized keynote speakers, including Lisa Bloom, American Civil Rights advocate and legal analyst; Alison Levine, history-making polar explorer and mountaineer; Cy Wakeman, award-winning author, business consultant and trainer; and Erica Williams Simon, social impact strategist and award-winning speaker.

DuTrac Community Credit Union is the Presenting Sponsor.

The IWLC Dubuque Conference has been tailored specifically to the tri-state area by a local steering committee with IWLC staff assistance. “I went to an IWLC Eastern Iowa conference and I became excited about bringing a conference to Dubuque,” says Jason Norton, Senior Vice President for Marketing and Business Development at DuTrac Community Credit Union. “When I left the conference, I imagined 900 new believers supporting women’s leadership. I said to myself, ‘I’m going to make sure these opportunities for women are available in Dubuque.’”

“IWLC’s mission is important to all Iowans — not just women,” says Betsy McCloskey, Principal Partner of Plaid Swan and a member of the IWLC Board of Directors. “As a state we need an organization that lifts women up and sheds light on all the attributes we bring to the table. IWLC helps ensure that female leaders are prepared and able to offer a diverse perspective in the workplace, which is vital to keeping Iowa’s economy strong. Dubuque has taken the lead on so many initiatives in the state. I am proud to know that we will once again be at the forefront of driving change and starting this important discussion right here — in our own community.”
