Award-winning journalist, Tamron Hall has been the host of Deadline: Crime with Tamron Hall on Investigation Discovery since September 2013. The series, now in its fifth season, takes an in-depth look at crimes that shocked the nation.
Tamron was part of the NBC News team as a co-host of the third hour of NBC News’ TODAY and the anchor of MSNBC Live with Tamron Hall. She received the 2015 Edward R. Murrow Award for Reporting: Hard News in Network Television for her segment on domestic violence as part of TODAY’s “Shine A Light” series. She has also hosted several special reports for MSNBC and NBC News including “Education Nation: Teacher Town Hall,” which was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2011, and she served as a correspondent for the NBC News special “The Inauguration of Barack Obama,” which won an Emmy for Outstanding Live Coverage in October 2010.
Prior to joining MSNBC in July 2007, Tamron spent 10 years at WFLD in Chicago, where she held a number of positions including general assignment reporter, consumer reporter and host of the three-hour Fox News in the Morning program.
Tamron was the recipient of Temple University’s prestigious Lew Klein Alumni in the Media award in 2010 and in 2015, was appointed to Temple’s Board of Trustees. She is involved with several charitable organizations that strive to end homelessness and illiteracy, as well as others that fight domestic abuse. She has been recognized by Day One, a New York-based advocacy group for victims of domestic violence, for her work and support of their efforts. Most recently, Tamron launched The Tamron Renate Fund with Safe Horizon in honor of her sister to help victims and families affected by domestic violence. In addition, Tamron is an active member of the National Association of Black Journalists.
Tamron is a native of Luling, Texas, and she holds a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from Temple University.

Sarah Cronk is the founder of The Sparkle Effect, a national nonprofit organization that creates cheerleading and dance programs that bring together students with and without disabilities. Since 2009, The Sparkle Effect has generated over 200 teams that directly impact over 10,000 students. Sarah’s work with The Sparkle Effect has appeared in numerous national news and media outlets, including PeopleMagazine, The Oprah Winfrey Show, CNN, and NBC Nightly News. Sarah graduated from Whitman College in 2015 with a degree in Psychology. In addition to serving on The Sparkle Effect’s Board of Directors, Sarah works as a marketing strategist for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and serves on the board for the National Inclusion Project.
Jeffery Tobias Halter is a TEDx speaker, Huff Post blogger and the country’s leading male expert on advancing women and engaging men. Jeffery is President of YWomen, a strategic consulting company focused on engaging men in women’s leadership issues. YWomen focuses on driving actionable business plans and strategies to help organizations create Integrated Women’s Leadership Strategies. Jeffery is the former Director of Diversity Strategy for The Coca-Cola Company. He has extensive knowledge of the consumer package goods, retail, food service and hospitality industries and is sought after speaker at industry forums and corporate programs.
